Prof. P. N. Jha Director School of Management Sciences Varanasi warmly welcomed the resource persons across nationwide. This session mainly revolved around the students values and etiquettes when entering into corporate after leaving campus life. The resources person shared their practical experience with students that company culture is the set of shared values, beliefs, and behaviors that define a company, and its important to fit into the culture because youre more likely to enjoy the time you spend at work. Fortunately, there are several things you can do to fit in. They also shared important tips which every student should keep in mind while joining new company i.e., Adhere to the dress code as required; Pay close attention to every detail and try to be a quick learner; Observe team etiquettes; Involve your creativeness in doing your job, that what will make you stand out from rest of other in the company. Its perfectly normal to be a little nervous, but you should keep in mind these points while entering into the corporate arena.
