There has always been a lot of interest and discussions about the dos and don’ts of an interview. Candidates are always made aware of the basic preparations, manners and etiquette of an interview.   1. Put up all you have: By the end of your interview you must let the recruiter know all the necessary facts about you. Don’t hold back anything, which you think is important for the job . Make sure all your strengths are in focus.

Ask if you can show any other details or work samples: Sometimes new job roles require newer skills.So before leaving , ask your recruiter if you can present to them any work sample or further details, which they might like to see. By doing this, you will bring forward your sincerity. This will leave a good impression. Recruiters will get a positive picture of yours. They will find your interest and confidence in the job.
  1. Act interested, but not anxious :Before leaving, convey to your recruiters that you really want this job. Tell them that the company’s work area and ethics greatly interest you and you are ready to work hard and take up all the challenges that comes with post. Express your eagerness to learn their system. Tell them that you are ready to continuously upgrade yourself for the betterment. Your humility, sincerity, confidence and courage will lay a positive impact. However be sure to draw the line. Also ask them the date of decision. If possible ask for the name and contact details of the person in concern, whom you can contact if needed. These questions will give you an idea of your recruitment. You can get an idea whether they are planning for other candidates or not.
  1. Be Bold, if you can:If you are bold enough, you can straight away or indirectly ask your recruiters about your chances of getting hired. You can ask them, what they think of you, after discussion and interviewing you. If you want, be little sober, you can ask them if they feel you are apt for the concerned job role or not after the interview. Their reply will give you the hint about the chances of getting recruit. If they are not satisfied with you, they might even let you know if they are looking for other qualities for the concerned job role.
It is not always about the technical questions or your vastness of knowledge, that helps you get through an interview. It is about projecting yourself right. Portraying that you will be a useful and resourceful choice for the position can bag you the job. So next time be prepared.
