Two-Day National Seminar on
Emerging Trends in Information and Communication Technology

(November, 17 -18, 2007)

With the advent of communication and information technology the whole society and the world have changed by several folds. Today both the streams have converged into one and it is known as Information and Communication Technology (ICT). Each and every organization irrespective of its span and operation has deployed ICT to gain strategic niche in market place. 

Communication technology is a prime enabler for the deployment of “electronic” in business process and currently heading towards the wireless setup. The quality of service, security and application deployment are the prime concern for its acceptance beside the mobility with connectivity and management of dynamic topology. An altogether different kind of network has evolved which includes the characteristic of both wired and wireless and there too the concern for the above issues has dominated the scene.  

Information Technology, which is the backbone of for any business organizations has proved itself as a mandatory infrastructure to invest upon. IT after years of evolution has become a key player for decision making in both technical as well as business environment. Development and deployment of intelligent applications are gaining momentum and on the same side these face a ferocious challenge for interoperability among the various generations of application. Now the design and deployment infrastructure for the interoperability and its effectiveness is becoming a prime area.

The seminar is organized to provide a forum where the practitioners and researchers can discuss present their cases for open discussion and can jointly work out the possibilities for higher level of effectiveness. Papers and case studies relevant to the themes are solicited for presentation and discussion. The contribution is expected to be original.

PROCEDURE FOR PAPER SUBMISSION :  I A N P E R S P E C T I V E
Papers are to be submitted by
3rd November 2007 in single column MS Word format in 12pt Times New Roman Font. Names of authors, their addresses (postal and e-mail) and phone/fax numbers should be indicated. The paper should be e-mailed to the National Conference Convener at ks_mishra@yahoo.com.
All the selected papers will be presented by one of the authors the registration of which will be confirmed by 6th November, 2007.

REGISTRATION : 
Corporate Executives / Managers:                    Rs. 2000
Academicians*:                                            Rs. 1500
Research Scholars / Students:                        Rs. 500

(with Genuine Identity Cards)
*Fees will be Rs.1000 for those academicians who will present the Papers. 

The Registration Fee covers Conference kit, Snacks and Lunch on both the days. Paper presenters and participants would be issued Certificates.
Payment can be made in advance in cash or by local Cheque / DD favoring CONVENER, ACADEMIC & CULTURAL PROGRAMMES, SMS payable at VARANASI at any Bank.
 

ACCOMMODATION :
Limited number of free accommodation is available on first come first serve basis.  For those who could not avail of this facility, assistance shall be provided in getting accommodation according to their preference.  Prior intimation is necessary for accommodation assistance. Free accommodation shall be provided to student delegates in student hostels on prior request.
