PURUSHARTHA
(CENTRE FOR SPIRITUALISM AND HUMAN ENRICHMENT)
School of Management Sciences
is conscious of the fact that the ancient Indian knowledge and
traditions of various disciplines is a great asset that we all
can collectively capitalise upon. At the same time the School
is also aware of the role that spiritualism can play in making
our lives much better. Hence the Institution has come up with
a ‘Centre for Spiritualism and Human Enrichment’ which is working
with the aim of bridging the gap between ancient Indian knowledge
and traditions and the modern sciences of management and technology.
The Centre for Spiritualism and Human Enrichment at SMS, now
known by the name ‘Purusharth’, was inaugurated in the year
2003 by the then Governor of UP, Mahamahim Acharya Vishnu Kant
Shastri Ji. Since then the Centre has been active in various
activities under the Honorary Directorship of a world renowned
exponent of the area, Prof. K. D. Tripathi.
