Guest Lecture On Soft Skills for Public Relations: A Key for Corporate Success
Department of Commerce, SMS Varanasi conducted an orientation program for B.Com. (Hons.) and B.Com. students on the theme "Soft Skills for Public Relations: A Key for Corporate Success" on Friday 06 November 2020. The keynote speaker Mr. Suresh Gaur, Founder and CEO of “PR4 You” and Public Relations @ Online, Public Relations Consultancy firms in his impeccable deliberation made students aware of various dimensions of Soft Skills and Public Relations.
He further explained for forming public relations what soft skills are needed. In addition, he also highlighted to do the SWOT analysis of oneself and to know their USP. In the end, Sir stated about ten desirable soft skills Clarity, Commitment, Communication, Creativity, Conciseness, Continuity, Common Sense, Courtesy, Credibility, and Computer Literacy to develop PR relations.
The complete session including the Question and Answer session was co-ordinated by Dr. Akriti Jaiswal, Assistant Professor, SMS Varanasi. Finally, the session ended with an enthralling vote of thanks done by Mrs. Anju Singh, Assistant Professor, SMS Varanasi.
