Career in B-Tech, Scope, Jobs, Salary

Hold the dream for if it will die, You will become like a single winged bird that cant fly. A youngster who doesnt dream is not a youngster at all. In 12 grade when a student gets good marks in Maths, physics and computer most of the people suggest that either the student should go to IIT, NIT or normal B.Tech from the universities who are carrying out this course.  Most of the college now enroll students in B.tech through marks in JEE Main exams, so a good preparation of JEE Main and help students to get admission in the best colleges of India. Though engineering colleges are in India from the time of Britishers but  B.Tech has been in demand in India from more than 2 decades. Some reasons behind the job boom in B.Tech are:- 1)  Professionalism :-  B.Tech is a professional subject which focus more on skill building then on memorizing things. A B.Tech student has to pass through layers of practical exams. They are taught problem solving skills and builds constructive abilities in students. 2) Government Policies :- Like, in May 2000 Indian government passed Information Technology bill. It was a significant mile stone in the journey of E-Commerce in India. As a result of which today India has become a big market of E-Commerce. Today, Digital India program of Indian government has also given space for young generation for new job opportunities. 3) Demand Of Skilled Labour : With the establishment of IT firms and industries in India there has been a growing demand for skilled labours. 4) Globalization Of Job:- With globalization came globalization of jobs. There are many people from India in IT sector who work for American companies. For example, Sundar Pichai, CEO of Google, an American company, is from India. 5) High Growth Opportunities : B.Tech students with good skills are shifted to high packages depending on their work performance. They are give lakhs of packages and many other perks. 6) Start Up : After spend a good time in corporate sector many B.Tech students also give push to their own start up plans   Thats all about why do choose B.Tech as career option but after passing 12th grade there is one very frequent question among students that which trade is best for B.tech. So, first all let us understand what are different trades or branches of B.Tech. 1) B.Tech Mechanical Engineering: In this branch of B.Tech the students are taught about design of machines, manufacturing,  production and maintenance. Students from this trade can get job in machine based industries, computer hardware, software industries, petroleum industries, electronic industries, aircraft industries, banking industries and so on. India is a pool of opportunity for such students as it is  fastest growing economy in the world with burgeoning industries. 2) B.Tech Computer Science : This is one of the most celebrated trade of B.Tech.  It deals with the study of theoretical foundations of the information technology the, its computation, implementation and application in computer system. It include coding, decoding, study of computer languages, cryptography, etc. With the development of Digital marketing in India this stream can be of great help.  It can also create base to learn how hacking can be done or how to make firewalls and other softwares. Besides that it has a sprawling field of game developing. Today, games like Clash Of Clans and PubG have made millions of money. Every other man with Android set play game. 3) B.Tech Civil Engineering : This sector mostly deals with real estate. In this branch of B.tech which deals with construction designing, maintenance of buildings, roads, bridges, township, etc. At a time when government is thinking about making smart cities and developing the web of infrastructure in India, this job gives ample of opportunities to the students. 4) B.Tech Chemical Engineering :  This branch involves study of maintaining and operation of large machinery, industrial plants and chemical processing for the production of various products like medicines, bio materials, lubricants, etc. This sector is also progressing in India owing to the large demand of medical products. 5) B.Tech Electronics : This field involves   designing equipments such as routers, switches, fiber optics and electronic switching systems. It gives job opportunities in government sector also like job in All India Radio, Indian Telephone Industry, Civil aviation, etc. The best part about B.Tech is that it give 100% guarantee of job for people with skill in private sector. Many companies also come to college for placement. Therefore, students who are doing B.tech should have the required skills in them. They should also focus on communication skills to get an opportunity through campus placement. Besides that summer internships in industrial areas or in the required field can also help B.tech students to build their profile. But, this is not enough, a B.tech student can do M.tech and get masters degree in his field which would add further to their skills and increase more changes of growth in job.
