Renowned Business School of the region, School of Management
Sciences(SMS), Varanasi witnessed a record 53 Campus Placement
in a single day in the entertainment conglemerate, H B Entertainment
Pvt. Ltd., New Delhi, with an initial package of Rs. 3.38
lacs per annum. Shri Gurusharan Singh (HR-Manager) himself
took pain to come to SMS for this placement.
The first phase of campus placements for the marketing,
finance & human resource students, that started a week
ago, would however, continue till 31st December; the next
phase is to begin on the 2nd January, 2011.
According to the Director, Prof. P. N. Jha and the Chairperson,
Training & Placement Cell, Dr. Sanjay Saxena, the placement
scenario at SMS, Varanasi this year has already exceeded
the expectations and is poised to surpass all previous placement
records in terms of the hierarchy, the package and also
the numbers. The Director further attributed this marked
achievement to the highest academic standard prevailing
in the Institute since its inception
in 1995.
So far in the first phase more than two dozen corporate
bodies have already visited the campus and offered final
quality placements to the final semester students of the
various PGDM, PGDM-IB, PGDM-IRM and PGDM-RM programmes being
run by the Institute. |
