 In
a recent development a three members team from School of
Management Sciences,Varanasi comprising of Dr. Sanjay Saxena
,Dr.Meenakshi Singh and Mr. Amitabh Pandey met Prof. Michael
Schenk, Managing Director of Institute of Logistics and
Material Handling System, Otto Von Guericke Universitat
Magdeburg, Germany and discussed the possibility of joint
research in the areas of factory automation, logistics and
material handling and process management etc .
Prof Michael was accompanied by Dr. Jorg Scharf Vice President
Sales, FAM (Forderanlagen Magdeburg), Germany.
Both the sides agreed to cooperate on the above mentioned
areas and also decided to jointly provide for continuous
interface between Industrialists and Academia of both the
countries.
