The center designs and implements various programs for helping todays professional in various field of operations to update and enhance their knowledge and skill and contribute positively towards the growth of her organization by quality performance and demonstrating excellence in her place of work.

Software has been targeted as a growth sector in India. Besides the industry’s own potential for exports, software also plays the crucial role in Information technology (IT), use of which is fast becoming the key for competitiveness in any industry. Hence, for the growth of IT industry as well as the other industries, rapid growth of software industry, both in terms of size and quality is absolutely essential.

Though the software industry has been growing very rapidly, with many multinationals coming in India, the industry has already hit a road block in its path to glory, and the road block is the acute shortage of manpower.

According to Jayant Sinha, partner at McKinsey, “25 per cent of technical graduates and 10 per cent to 15 per cent of general college graduates are suitable for employment in offshore IT and BPO industries respectively”

Taking the cue from the gap in demand and supply of quality IT professionals CPCD has come up with a unique program called NEEV, born out of synergy between, School of Management Sciences, Academic Institution par excellence and Industry partner Synergy Technologies Services, an end-to-end IT services and solution provider to customers worldwide.
This endeavor is the first step to addressing the employment issues arising out of the current market turmoil and would help us bridge the ever increasing gap between the industry and the academia.
