On the occasion of RASHTRIYA EKTA DIWAS-31ST Oct 2014, a Blood Donation Camp was organized at School Of Management Science, Varanasi Camp was organized by RAINBOW a social welfare club of the institute in association with Indian Medical Association- Blood Bank, Varanasi.
During his inaugural and welcome address The Director of SMS, Varanasi, Prof. P. N. Jha stated the importance of Blood Donation. He further said that Blood Donation being a noble cause strengthens the unity of the nation and creates a invisible bond amongst the citizen of the country .Dignitaries present on the occasion to grace the event included Dr.N P Singh-President IMA Varanasi, Shri SK Singh-Joint Secretary SMS Varanasi, Prof.P.N Jha-Director SMS Varanasi, Shri Alok Kumar- Dean R& D, and Shri Kamalsheel Mishra-Dean Computer Science.
During his address Dr.NP Singh-President IMA discussed the contribution of the institute towards the noble cause appreciated the efforts. On behalf of IMA, Dr.NP Singh committed the best possible support in case of any urgency to the whole SMS family and blessed the students with best wishes.
