TECH MARATHON-2017- A 16hrs Techno Brain Race-4

An integral part of professional education, a simulation based competition Tech Marathon, organized for MCA students ended after continuous 16-hour run at the Khushipur campus of School of Management Sciences (SMS) Varanasi. 16 hours Techno Brain Race started with the blessings of Director Prof. P. N. Jha and Registrar Mr. Sanjay Gupta at 17:00 Hrs on 08th April 2017. Topic of this 16 Hrs race was announced by the Director as DDR Application (Digital Data Repository).

Features of these apps were explained by Mr. Ram Gopal Gupta. Inauguration of the event was coordinated by Mr. K.S. Mishra and Mr. S.S. Srivastava and Mr. Ram Gopal Gupta, Mr. Pradeep Kumar, Mr. Debprio Banerjee, Mr. Sushil Singh, Mr. K.N. Chaubey and all the faculty ensured the smooth conduction of competition and encouraged the participants.

Event Objective: Event will make the participants to work in team, and deliver the result in time bound conditions and cop-up with the stressful environment

Problem Statement:Every organization has different sets of document, sometimes they are in hard/ soft form. They are arranging them in physical form so that when the requirement arises, documents can be retrieved easily. Challenge with such practice is the management of documents because documents are filled year-wise, category wise, sub-category wise or mixing all. It creates heap of papers and searching a document become tedious.

Teams will develop a DDR (Digital Data Repository) Web Application prototype as a solution of this problem in which these documents will be uploaded digitally as filling into the manual system.

When the evaluation was over, the result was announced and below id the list of winning teams from MCA 4thSem.
